





































Captain Andrew Dodge had Caleb Littlefield build him a house and barn. In 1790, When the house was finished, George Washington was President and Rhode Island had just became its own state.
Step into this world, but with the comforts of home!
Your stay is located on the second floor of this 1790 house with the original fireplace and beams. It is a center cape with 4 fireplaces from the center chimney. The additional fireplaces are downstairs in the pottery shop. The roof has cedar shingles and many windows and light fixtures mimic the original ones.
The apartment suite sits in the historical downtown area nestled in with shops, restaurants, bars, and beaches. You are in the heart of it but you are the only rental on the property with a private entrance, a deck and garden. And you don’t need a car reservation. You can walk there from the ferry!

The rental has an open floor plan with a bedroom, sitting area, kitchen and dining area as well as a desk. It has air conditioning or heat, depending on the season.
The bathroom is down the stairs with a shower. All the linens and towels are included, as well as beach towels and beach chairs. In the bathroom there is hand soap on the sink, ample toilet paper and in the shower, shampoo & conditioner.
There are closets and luggage racks. Also there is a drying rack for towels or wet bathing suits.
Broadband Wi-Fi is included. There is a TV.
The kitchen has a stove, oven, microwave, toaster, sink, coffee maker and Keurig. The kitchen area includes utensils, pots, pans and pottery as well as a refrigerator.
The bed is a queen with medium firmness. It is nestled under historic beams and both sides of the bed have a light and a universal phone charger.
There are puzzles and books in the apartment and the Island- Free Library is located in the same block if you have a bad weather day.
